Mamas of special needs children are dedicated and determined advocates for their children. But, Mamas need support too! I believe in providing you with resources and peer support because the work you do for your child is incredibly important! I hope Mama Hippos can provide creative solutions, so that you feel empowered and valuable! (And, hopefully we can help save you some time so you can get some much needed sleep!)
Why Hippos?
It’s all about perspective. Hippos are known for being over-protective and aggressive. Flip the perspective, and you’ll find that hippos are passionate advocators for their children. The name Mama Hippos celebrates the strength and determination of mothers and encourages women to see the impact they make for their children.
